Beauty essentials | Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream

Lo sappiamo, non esistono creme o prodotti miracolosi, ma devo dire che il contorno occhi It's Potent! di Benefit ci si avvicina parecchio. Oltre ad avere un profumo e una consistenza che adoro - e tralasciando il fatto che sono una Benefit addicted - questo prodotto, semplicemente, FUNZIONA. Lo sguardo appare subito più fresco e riposato e la cosa fantastica è che lo notano tutti. Davvero. Provare per credere.

There are no miracle products, we know that. But I have to say the It's Potent! Benefit eye cream comes very close to this idea. I adore the scent and the texture, but most of all I like I like the fact that this product WORKS. The eyes look immediately fresher and brighter, and everyone notices that!

L'applicazione è davvero facilissima e rapida: ne va picchiettata una piccolissima quantità con i polpastrelli sul contorno occhi, lasciandola poi agire per qualche minuto. Dopodiché va stesa con movimenti circolari verso l'esterno fino al completo assorbimento. Una coccola che richiede appena 5 minuti di tempo e che ormai fa parte della mia beauty routine.

How to use it: Apply a small amount to the skin around the eye area and wait a few minutes. Then, massage gently in a circular motion until it is absorbed.

Il mondo del beauty e del makeup mi ha sempre affascinata. Una passione che soprattutto in passato mi ha spinta ad acquistare e provare ciprie, sieri, gloss, smalti, creme e cremine del momento. Con risultati spesso deludenti.

Destreggiarsi in un mare di marketing e pubblicità non è affatto facile e trovare prodotti validi e all'altezza delle aspettative promesse sembra quasi un miracolo. L'acqua micellare Bioderma Sensibio è uno di questi.  Ho iniziato a utilizzarla al posto dello struccante dopo una brutta dermatite al viso.
Cercavo un prodotto delicato che rimuovesse il trucco senza irritare e stressare ulteriormente la pelle, da usare anche al mattino al posto del detergente per rimuovere impurità e oleosità in eccesso. E quest'acqua si è rivelata perfetta!

Ne bastano poche gocce su un batuffolo di cotone per rimuovere anche il mascara più tenace. Inoltre non unge, non brucia a contatto con gli occhi e lascia la pelle liscissima e fresca. Insomma, per me è lo struccante ideale e vi consiglio vivamente di provarlo. L'ho acquistato in farmacia al prezzo speciale di 9,90 euro (il prezzo pieno è circa 13 euro). La confezione da 250 ml mi è durata un mese. Ne esistono anche altre due versioni indicate per la pelle grassa o quella secca.

Piccola nota sull'INCI

Consultando il forum Saicosatispalmi.org ho avuto modo di appurare che l'INCI dell'acqua micellare Sensibio non è perfetto. Nonstante io prediliga comunque i prodotti senza siliconi e parabeni mi sono resa conto che la questione è molto soggettiva. Ho riscontrato ad esempio problemi con alcuni prodotti Weleda, e perfino con alcuni cosmetici Clinique e Bionike, mentre non ho manifestato alcuna allergia a prodotti Kiko, Yves Saint Laurent o Bioestetique.

About the INCI

I consulted the INCI name here and I realized it's not so good. I came to the conclusion that the question is a very subjective thing. For example, I had problems with some Weleda products, and even with some Clinique and Bionike cosmetics, while I'm not allergic to Kiko, Yves Saint Laurent or Bioestetique products.

La scorsa settimana il brand francese Comptoir des Cotonniers ha presentato a Roma - nel centralissimo store di via Frattina - una speciale capsule natalizia dall’allure deliziosamente retrò.

Last week I attended the event organized by Comptoir des Cotonniers in Rome showing a special capsule collection for  Christmas.

La mini collezione composta da abiti plissé, maxi foulard, cappottini bon ton, sandali e pochette bicolor è dominata dai toni dell’oro e del nero, sapientemente mescolati in un mix très (très) Chic.
